independence day when i was little involved tying streamers to our bikes and riding around the cul de sac’s 4th of july block party. while there are less flag-arranged fruit tarts and all-beef kosher hot dogs in my current 4th of july plans, bikes still remain my brightest memory of those firework-filled 4th of july summer nights. the sun is out and i hope everyone has an amazing day of fireworks and bicycle streamers!
