VINTAGE CLOTHES AND IMAGINARY LOVE. 23.05.11
created by 22-year-old, french-canadian, actor-filmmaker xavier dolan, heartbeats or les amours imaginaires is a beautiful piece of film work recommended to me by a friend (who has awesome taste in film and video). unfortunately i am a few months too late here in seattle and have no clue where to see it. oh well, i guess i will just have to continue searching for it until it gets picked up for wider distribution or just keep playing the enchanting trailer on repeat (side note: nice use of dalida’s remake of nancy sinatra’s “bang bang!”).
