it’s almost a good two weeks into the new year, but sometimes you just need a little inspiration to embrace the change in kerning (seriously, 2011? really?). i think these adorable illustrations in sunset magazine by kate bingaman burt will ease the transition and help everyone embrace their new years’ resolutions. burt doesgreat work for some amazing companies such as madewell (see her madewell city maps), wieden + kennedy (she did illustrations on their studio work on the webby awards), target, ideo, and readymade and has even written her own book, obsessive consumption.
