BACK TO THE GRIND.                                                                                        03.09.10

so summer is officially over as is my internship and lovely seattle vacation. its strange to be back in the bubble that is claremont, ca – a place i can only describe as the byproduct of a stepford housewife, suburban house fence and a grapefruit (sorry, i’m not sure what that means either, welcome to claremont). the benefit, however, is i return to some wonderful friends, breathtaking weather, and have been re-introduced back into the world of photography.

i’m in a class where we take field trips to joshua tree and areas around los angeles to take landscape and placescape photography using large and medium format camera. i’m also in this amazing video class where we will be learning final cut pro and i will try to learn a bit about animation and teach myself some more after affects.

its been a strange transition back to the states and i still get a strong urge to return back to london every so often, but with all the interesting classes and great music coming up in the la area, i think it’ll work out just fine. by the way…the picture above is of the chocolate cookies i baked for my last day at square tomato. they were so fun to work for and i just want to thank them for teaching me so much! thank you!
